Our Speech Pathologists

Kirsty Lay - Principal Speech Pathologist

BSpPath, Certified Practising Speech Pathologist 

Kirsty earned her Speech Pathology degree from La Trobe University in 2011 and has extensive experience working with paediatric clients in the mainstream setting. She is skilled in assessing and treating the speech and language abilities of paediatric and adolescent clients, with a particular interest in children's literacy development. Kirsty has also completed several years as a Speech Pathology Clinical Educator and trained future speech pathologists in conjunction with the Andrew Dean Fildes Foundation for Language-Learning Disabilities’ SHINE Program.

Holly O'Callaghan - Speech Pathologist

BPsySc BHlthSci MSpPath,  Certified Practising Speech Pathologist 

Holly completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science, Bachelor of Health Sciences, and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University and is a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Holly has experience working with children who have a range of speech, language, and pragmatic difficulties, as well as children on the autism spectrum. She is trained in the Sounds-Write linguistic phonics program for teaching reading and spelling, and the Hanen More Than Words program for providing intervention to children with autism spectrum disorder or social communication difficulties. Holly loves achieving her clients' goals through making therapy as fun as possible!

Holly will be on leave in 2023.

Siena Gavillucci - Speech Pathologist

BAppSci MSpPath,  Certified Practising Speech Pathologist 

Siena completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University and is a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is passionate about working with children and adolescents who present with literacy, speech, and language difficulties. Siena is trained in the Lidcombe Program to treat stuttering in children, and enjoys helping her clients with a variety of communication difficulties to reach their full potential!

Rita Nehme - Speech Pathologist

MSLP,  Certified Practising Speech Pathologist 

Rita completed her Master of Speech Language Pathology at The University of Sydney and is a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She employs a family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to help support and achieve their goals.  She has particular interests in working with children who present with literacy, language or speech difficulties.  She is trained in the Sounds-Write linguistic phonics program for teaching reading and spelling. Rita is passionate about focusing on her clients' strengths in order to maximise their participation in therapy.
